It is an absolutely perfect description. Bas Hilversum, The Netherlands. I had mixed feelings about this book. For all of the times I’ve looked at a great image and figured it was far too complicated for me to imitate armed with just my camera and, when I’m lucky, an external jod unitMcNally shows that it can be done AND that it can be done without necessarily emptying the bank account.
I preordered from Amazon and got my copy last Thursday.
If nothing else, it was fascinating to see these famous photos and hear about how and why he had chosen to shoot them This was a cool book! I went into work to collect it on Saturday and I have skimmed through the content.

A few weeks after he took his portrait, the legend rocker died. The most interesting aspect of it is the “look at one more shot and read a story about the shoot” aspect. Thank you for your feedback. I never even thought to set my white balance to the opposite and compensate with a gelled flash. Being an avid photographer it was only natural for me to purchase this paperback book.

Our pictures are our scribbles and scratches, both on ourselves and on the world around us. Popped over to my local library’s website to reserve this title and discovered it was available as an e-book.
The premise of the book came from the author’s continuously informative and entertaining photography workshops that he had been teaching through the years. He would be doing a disservice if he did. That’s what editors are for.

The Moment It Clicks Photography Secrets
This is one of the best if not THE best book on photography I have ever read. Particularly noted for his portraits, McNally teaches numerous workshops throughout the year. I am a grannie that has taken up photography — I love it — the most fun I have ever had.

Let’s start with the form. The book mdnally many war stories that relates to lighting check out the Winona Rider Story on page 50and it sprinkled with lighting tips in frames. Other times, the messages we bear are angry, as if written by a graffiti artist with a can of screaming red paint.

You are the motivation that is taking me from part time pro to full time. McNally assumes that the reader has a certain level of expertise. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Recalcitrant SOBs we always have been and always will be. And your humor and honesty keeps me quickly turning the page.
The “secrets” are things like “Then I climbed to the top of the Empire State Building, used a magenta filter and a strobe flash! This book is packed with those “Ah ha!
As for the photos, some are great and some are just average.
